It will take 14 days after your treatment to notice the full effects of Botox®. Some patients may notice mild swelling at the injection sites. We advise patients not to apply skin care products containing active ingredients after their treatment. Also, refrain from applying pressure to your face for several days. Post-Care Instructions
After your Botox® injection, it’s common to experience temporary redness and mild swelling at the injection site, which typically resolves without intervention. Bruising can also occur, so we recommend scheduling treatment well before any special events. Initial effects may appear within 24-72 hours, with optimal results visible at two weeks. If an adjustment is needed at that time, additional units can be administered at an extra cost. Results generally last 3-4 months, and routine treatments every few months help maintain smoother skin.
To ensure the best outcome and minimize potential side effects:
- Remain upright for four hours post-treatment and avoid lying down.
- Avoid touching or massaging the injection site.
- Refrain from wearing makeup for at least four hours.
- Hold off on exercise until the next day.
