Botox
Botox cosmetic injections are an FDA-approved, prescription medicine utilized to target facial muscles responsible for creating fine lines and wrinkles. Moderate to severe crow’s feet, brow furrows and frown lines are temporarily and quickly erased. Through this procedure, patients achieve a smooth and youthful appearance — reinvigorating their confidence.
Juvéderm
Juvéderm leads the market as the longest-lasting gel dermal filler. With the longevity of up to two years, this procedure plumps, volumizes, and smooths the targeted area. These below dermal fillers can smooth facial folds, add lip volume and more!
Juvéderm Volbella XC
Natural, subtle lip volume and lip symmetry are achieved through a Juvéderm Volbella XC treatment. It also smooths perioral lines of the face, lending a youthful appearance.
Juvéderm Voluma XC
Natural aging is a common culprit behind diminishing facial volume. But with a Juvéderm Voluma XC treatment, cheeks are instantly amplified to reverse volume loss!
Juvéderm Vollure XC
Juvéderm Vollure XC procedures correct moderate to severe facial folds, such as nasolabial folds.
Jeuveau
Jeuveau® is one of our most popular non-surgical injectable products for minimally invasive cosmetic treatments. This FDA-approved prescription medication is designed to reduce the appearance of moderate-to-severe wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead, glabellar lines (the eleven lines between the eyebrows), and crow’s feet.
Kybella
Designed to target stubborn fat cells residing below the chin, a Kybella treatment effectively destroys cells to effectively sculpt your chin and jawline.
Radiesse
Radiesse stimulates the body’s production of collagen, a protein that gives skin that youthful glow, and encourages growth to ensure a more revitalized appearance. It is a hydroxylapatite dermal filler used for moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, which are the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth. This filler is also helpful for adding volume to the back of the hands.
Sculptra
Sculptra is an FDA approved injectable filler that is used to restore facial volume. Unlike the other common fillers which are mainly used to fill a specific crease, line or fold, such as those made of Hyaluronic acids (Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, etc.) or the thicker Calcium hydroxylapatite filler (Radiesse), Sculptra is used to achieve an overall gradual fill of the aging face due to deflation and volume loss. It contains a synthetic biocompatible substance Poly-L-Lactic (PLLA) that stimulates collagen production. The results are natural, gradual and last several years. The procedure is very safe and downtime, as well as risks, are minimal.
RHA Dermal Fillers
Dynamic folds and wrinkles often appear in the areas of your face that move repetitively. Your face makes millions of movements every day. Talking, laughing, frowning, and squinting create dynamic folds and wrinkles. RHA filler is best used for lines around the mouth where we have the most dynamic movement, however, it can also be used in off-label areas like the cheeks, tear troughs, chin and lips.
Over time, our skin produces less hyaluronic acid which leads to loss of structure, volume, and moisture. With a gentle manufacturing process, RHA is made to be more like the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in your skin, resulting in a more natural look.
The RHA collection of fillers is designed to be resilient enough to last but soft enough to adapt to your facial movements, providing a more natural look at rest and in motion. With the latest advancement in hyaluronic acid filler technology, this injectable treatment is designed to be long-lasting with clinical studies showing a duration of up to 15 months.
What Can Dermal Fillers & Injectables Do?
Dermal fillers are designed to fill in static wrinkles, which are present on the face while no facial expression is being made. Additionally, thin lips and areas of thinning skin (such as cheeks) are addressed with a dermal filler. Patients achieve a full, youthful and rejuvenated appearance via the insertion of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in a dermal filler.
Botox injections work to specifically target and soften dynamic wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are formed when the muscles in your face contract to make an expression. The neurotoxin present in Botox freezes these muscles and prevents them from contracting — which eases wrinkles and provides a natural, youthful complexion.
Who Is A Good Candidate For Dermal Fillers and Cosmetic Injections?
Age, gender, and skin type have no restraints over dermal fillers and cosmetic injections. Note that patients who are nonsmokers will heal more quickly and enjoy better, longer-lasting results due to the facial expressions made when smoking.
Any patient desiring to improve the appearance of sagging, wrinkling or aging skin may be a good candidate to dermal fillers. Additionally, a patient with thin lips or desiring lush lips benefit from dermal fillers.
Patients with moderate to severe brow furrows, crow’s feet and expression lines are ideal candidates for Botox injections.
What Are The Steps Of A Dermal Filler and Cosmetic Injection Procedure?
Dermal fillers and Botox injections alike are prefaced with a consultation to identify medical history, skin analysis, treatment areas, and skin goals. Your unique treatment plan will also be developed at your consultation.
As your dermal filler or Botox injection treatment begins, the treatment area will be numbed with a topical anesthetic. The location, status and amount of areas being treated will determine the necessary pressure and amount of injections you will receive. Your treatment will be short, lasting around 10–30 minutes and you are free to resume normal activity after your procedure. However, with both dermal fillers and botox, you should refrain from intense physical exertion for 24–48 hours and applying pressure to your face. Patients who received a dermal filler will notice immediate results, while patients who received Botox will need to wait 3–7 days to enjoy the full effects.
How Long Do Dermal Fillers & Injectables Last?
Dermal fillers provide patients with an immediately effective yet temporary effect. Depending on the treated area, dermal fillers may last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. You can expect your Botox injection to last 3–4 months on average. Patients may be able to extend the lifetime of their treatments by having Botox injections applied to an area first, immediately followed by a dermal filler.
