Breast Lift
At North Florida Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Center, we perform breast lift procedures, also known as mastopexy, for women seeking to restore the youthful appearance of their breasts. Whether due to aging, weight fluctuations, pregnancy, or other factors, sagging or loss of volume can affect your breast shape. Our experienced surgeons, Dr. David Mateo de Acosta and Dr. John W. Tyrone offer customized breast lift procedures to help you achieve a more lifted and firmer breast contour.
What Is A Breast Lift?
A breast lift involves surgically lifting and reshaping the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue. This procedure restores the breasts’ natural position and firmness without significantly altering their size. However, many patients combine a breast lift with either a breast augmentation to increase lost volume or breast reduction to remove breast tissue and decrease volume for optimal results based on their aesthetic goals.
Who Is A Good Candidate For A Breast Lift?
You may be a good candidate for a breast lift if you:
- Are unhappy with the sagging or drooping of your breasts
- Have lost significant volume in your breasts
- Are in good overall health and at a stable weight
- Are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
What Is The Cost Of A Breast Lift?
The cost of a breast lift varies depending on the needs of each individual patient, such as:
- The complexity of the lift
- If additional procedures like breast augmentation or liposuction will also be performed
- The estimated duration of the surgery
During your consultation, Dr. David Mateo de Acosta or Dr. John W. Tyrone will perform a physical assessment and review your medical history to determine whether a breast lift is right for you. We will provide a comprehensive price that includes all necessary procedures to achieve your aesthetic goals, all follow-up appointments, and one surgical bra.
We offer multiple financing options to make the procedure more accessible for all of our patients.
What Is The Recovery To A Breast Lift Like?
After your breast lift surgery, our team ensures you receive thorough post-operative care. Our mastopexy patients are able to go home the day of the surgery and will return to our office the day after their surgery to be seen by their doctor. Some swelling and discomfort for the first couple of weeks is normal after a breast lift. Most patients are able to return to light-duty activities like office work as soon as 3-4 days after their procedure.
